“To succeed in life, you need three things: a wishbone, a backbone and a funny bone”

ABOUT

I started off in the performing arts, treading the boards in numerous plays in amateur theatre and earning a couple of Cape Times Awards and Nominations along the way. I’ve always had a great love of children and a keen interest in psychology, which lead me to being the franchise owner of Durbanville Moms and Babes for 10 years, helping babies between 8 weeks & 15months to enhance and develop motor milestones and sensory integration, and supporting their moms in this journey. After qualifying as a teacher, I’ve facilitated for learners in need of a little extra help in mainstream schools as well as being a Reader and Scribe for learners requiring assistance with tests and exams. I’ve been involved in home schooling since 2020, and I love the close knit, homely environment and really getting to know the learners on a more personal level, which aids greatly in tailoring my teaching approach to each individual.
