ABOUT
My name is Julia Lowe, and I have lived in Durbanville my entire life. I enjoy helping people and letting everyone feel safe and seen. I have been interested in teaching since I was very young. I am starting my first year at university this year where I will follow my dream of becoming a teacher.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
I matriculated in 2024, where I passed all my subjects with flying colours. The subjects I enjoyed the most were definitely Afrikaans and English.
TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
School is a big part of a child’s life and can help shape who they might become. I believe that being kind and supportive to your students can ensure a good teacher-student relationship where your students feel safe to come to you with any problems or worries they might have.
FUN FACT
– I can move my ears separately and together.
– I have read 7 books in 2 weeks.
– I played first-team hockey in high school.
